On behalf of the children, staff and Governors, I warmly welcome you to St Denys CE Infant School in Ibstock. We are a vibrant, inclusive and family orientated 3-form entry Infant school with a 12 place Resource Base for children with Communication & Interaction and Cognition & Learning Needs.

At St Denys we believe in providing the best possible start for all our pupils on their journey as life-long learners.  Our dedicated team works hard to make sure our school is a happy, safe place, where our nurturing approach coupled with learning opportunities rooted in real experiences, all help our children to thrive. We seek to build upon the experiences each child brings from home.

All staff at St Denys, both teaching and support staff work as a team. We are committed to the development of each child as an individual. Our aim is to encourage children to work to the best of their abilities and realise their full potential in all aspects of learning and development social, emotional, physical, intellectual, spiritual and moral. We see each child as a unique individual person, which is represented by our motto “Grow in wisdom. Live well. Love God. Love others”.
